Yizkor

Yizkor services (memorial services) are held on Yom Kippur, the morning of Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah, the seventh day of Passover, and morning of Shavuot.  These special additions to the festival services provide solace and comfort to those who have lost loved ones in recent weeks and months, as well as in years gone by.  A Book of Remembrance is prepared each year for those congregants who wish to list their deceased loved ones by name.
