Religious School Director
Shoshana Kroll

The Talmud says “One who has knowledge has everything.” That is the guiding principle of Raymund Family Religious School, Director Shoshana Kroll and the teaching staff of Raymund Religious School. Shoshana has been the school’s director since 2008 after joining the staff as a 1st grade teacher in 1997 and teaching 3rd grade for several years. Shoshana holds a BA in Journalism from the University of South Florida and earned her MA in Jewish Studies with a certificate in Jewish Education from Gratz College in Philadelphia in 2008. Shoshana also teaches 7th grade, tutors B’nai Mitzvah students and teaches Adult Education. Shoshana is passionate about Jewish Education and believes that it is a powerful tool in keeping our Jewish youth connected to their heritage. Shoshana subscribes to the educational theory that Judaism is not only about theology but includes an intellectual dimension which reflects history, thought, law, ethics, mysticism; all of which are encouraged to be interpreted, debated and discussed and challenged. Shoshana believes every student is exceptional; she admires their desire to engage and to learn and holds their parents in high regard for their commitment to ensuring that their children carry on the legacy of their own parents and their parents before them.
