Brotherhood
B'Shalom from Brotherhood!!
The Brotherhood at Temple Beth-El is very active and welcomes new members with open arms. 100% of all monies collected are returned to the Temple, Temple Families, and the Community.
Among the opportunities is an invitation to join The Boyz in the Hood, a group of Brotherhood members dedicated to providing the finest culinary specialties to the Temple, prepare meals such as the Art Festival Reception, 2nd Night Seder, Annual Meeting Dinner, B’nai Mitzvah Luncheons, JCC Family Funfest, weekly Sunday morning Schmooze, and much more.
Brotherhood is a 1/3 partner in TBE's Mitzvah Day, sponsoring (and preparing) the breakfast for over 250 participants, as well sponsoring the Blood Drive and the Bagged Lunch program, purchasing food last year for over 425 lunches sent out to local shelters. We sponsor an Annual Camping Weekend each November which brings over 100 guests out to the KOA in St. Pete for a full weekend of Congregational fun. Brotherhood also provides Ushers and “Bima sitting” for Shabbat and Holiday services, scholarships to Camp Coleman and support to our Beefy and Beefy Jr. youth groups, etc.
All this activity builds a spirit of camaraderie and fraternity that offers a great support framework for all our members. We look forward to welcoming you to our Temple Beth-el Brotherhood!
BROTHERHOOD SCHMOOZE: Join Brotherhood on Sundays (when religious school is in session) at 9:15 am for breakfast, discussion of interest, and current events. A $5 donation per person is recommended.
